Open Adult Ballet with Jennifer Bezaire
New Class in 2019!
Class includes a 15 to 30 minute warm-up in accordance with Safe in Dance International’s Principles and incorporates Pilates or dance-specific conditioning elements for proprioception, balance, motor patterning, strength, and control, which have been scientifically proven to reduce injuries, improve body mechanics and alignment. The warm-up is appropriate for all ages, levels and abilities – from those who have not moved in a while to professional artists.
Warm-up is followed by a ballet technique class with emphasis on individually appropriate alignment and the use of imagery and somatic practice techniques to develop proprioception, improve technical execution, decrease risk of injury, and improve strength, stamina, artistry and performance.
